Mode Monday: Wardrobe Essentials

by - January 22, 2018

Happy Monday, lovelies! I'm coming at you guys with my new blog series called "Mode Monday"! So what is mode? Well, the definition of a mode is a fashion or style in clothes, art, or literature
I thought what a perfect blog series to start! So, every Monday I will be posting a new
"Mode Monday" for you guys!

For my first "Mode Monday" I'm doing wardrobe essentials. I tried to find good neutrals that are perfect to carry over into spring. Just add a pop of color with any of these pieces and voila you have the perfect spring outfit, but pieces that can still work wonderfully for winter! I use and wear these pieces constantly, and that's exactly why I picked them for you all! I hope you all love them!

Above you'll notice my  Free People dupe scarf . This scarf is super soft and soooooo cozy! And for the price, you can't beat it! It's been so cold here I've worn this scarf on repeat! It's super stylish while still being very functional.

Next up is this supa cute Free People top (because, let's be honest, I'm a sucker for all things Free People)! This super soft long sleeve basic is perfect for layering, or just wearing itself! It's honestly one of my most favorite purchase I've made this year. It fits TTS (wearing a small), but almost all items from Free People wear a little on the larger side, so keep that in mind when ordering. This top is a definite must for your wardrobe!

I couldn't talk to you all about wardrobe essentials without talking to you about my all-time favorite pair of jeans! I've seriously been obsessing over these American Eagle light wash distressed jeans! They are so comfortable, but still so cute! American Eagle Jegging Jeans are practically the only jeans I wear because of their stretchy material and great fit. They fit TTS (I'm 115lbs. and 5'7",  and I'm wearing a size 0), and their price point for jeans is also amazing.
I highly recommend these to you guys!

Everyone needs a good go-to cardigan, and this is definitely mine! I love layering with a cardigan in the winter for added warmth and then as a nice throw on for those chilly spring days. This exact cardigan I have on was sold out, but I did find this very similar one from L.L. Bean. Seriously, this color goes with so much and classes up any look.

Kendra. Kendra. Kendra... If you can't tell from this photo I love Kendra Scott jewelry (and this isn't even half of them lol... I may have a problem)! Their Drusy necklaces are so simple, but classic. I wear one almost every day, and they honestly go with any outfit! From casual to dressy, these necklaces are the ones for you!
I highly recommend any of her jewelry it's great quality for a fabulous price!

Mules and loafers are seriously one of my most favorite trends this season! I found these gems at Target, and they are ohhh sooo comfortable! The black mules did run a little big for me because I have a narrow foot so I had to size down to a 7, but the chestnut loafers fit TTS. They are so cute and definitely one of my wardrobe essential for this season, and every season.

A trusty go-to cross-body bag is a definite must for every girl's wardrobe. This Micheal Kors cross-body has been my ole' faithfully for almost a year and it still looks brand new! I'm a big fan of brown hues so this bag goes with practically everything I own, and that's why I love it. If you aren't a big Micheal Kors fan then just find a good cross-body in the brand and color you love! Neutrals are always the best when it comes to a go-to bags because it's easy to pair them with any outfit!

Last, but certainly not least is my go-to tote. I love ALL the sparkles!! Glitter is my actual BFF, so when I found this little lovely on Etsy I obviously had to have it! The best part about this tote is the amazing price! I got this beaut for $20! I'm always needing to "tote" things around, so this bag is the perfect size for all the extra things I need to carry around when I'm on the go.
